So the leather shoes that I have been wearing since maybe one year ago, the heel was sort of wearing out. The back where the heel strikes every time the foot hit the ground, was sort of... worn out and it's getting thinner, that there was a stone stucked inside the wooden heel! Would've been easier to explain with a picture. But too bad I forgot to do that before I get the new one.
And the new one look exactly the same... Perhaps, newer look. Weee!!! And it costs just 35bucks!
Okay. Well... actually it's the same old pair. Just that, one afternoon, after the end of posting test, I was just in the mood of getting the heel changed. Went out to 1U to register for a run, and was looking for a cobbler when I realized there was none around. So the only place that I could confirm a cobbler is, apart from the shoplots in Section 14, was in Jaya One. The Cobblerman.
And boy was I glad I get the heel changed instead of getting a pair. Usually a new pair of leather shoes can go as low as 100 bucks during sales. But the rest of the shoes are still in good condition. And I'm actually hoping to just wear it for a couple more months.
I wouldn't quite be bothered about changing the heel, but everytime I walk in the hospital, the heel strike was just too loud. It was as though I really was wearing high heels. Click clock click clock... I used to love that sound. But now? I suppose the reduced confidence level has turned then sound into a nuisance.
So anyways. New Shoes! Yay! All done in 30 minutes. Weee!~

yeah, i also mend my heels before i get a new one.. because the leather is still in good condition, maybe only after wearing out the second heels it's time to change a new shoe..
some would suggest to straight away add a layer of rubber for your new shoes, so you only worn out the rubber and you just change another new layer, this way your shoes last longer (almost forever, haha)..
So you saved money here and can go for more lavish buffets! So clever doctor!
wow.. 1 year old shoes is still in quite good condition horr? :) my shoes mostly won't last for a year :(
very traditional model...
I totally killer my old leather shoes' heels multiple times. But, its time for me to get a new one anyway, the old one is totally worn out, but still shiny~
