More often than not, the public get over excited when there are twins or triplets. So they come to their scanning appointment, and the obstetricians would be telling her, "This is twin number 1, and this is twin number 2."

And the mother would be squeling in excitement. Wee!!!!

But more often than not, many do not know that, the obstetricians would stare blankly and spell "trouble" invincibly. Pregnancy is a form of stress for the human body. If one baby could pose severe life-threatening disease like eclampsia, what more there are 2 in the womb? And there could be chances that the twins might not be growing equally too. Let alone 3 or more!

Having said that, in-vitru fertilization nowadays increases the population with twin pregnancy as compared to the law of nature.
