On the Long-Awaited Parcel

And the next day, I finally got the package I was waiting for. All the goodies from Energizer Night Race.

Ta-daaaa~~~

Energizer must've spent a LOT in doing the damage control for their badly organized run, though the fault should be put on the Organizer not the title sponsor. Got this parcel on Citylink postal which I'm sure cost quite a bit. Inside, there's the headlight, a shaver, a battery charger, a bag, and of course the finisher certificate, t-shirt and the medal. I was smiling in glee. :D

In case you haven't known, after the run, it was a havoc on the Facebook where all the participants complained at how badly the run was organized. And a few days later, news spread that Energizer had talk to the organizer and decided to refund; while it was still unsure whether, with the refunds, the organizer would post the goodie bags as they promised at the run.

Then, a few days later, another official letter was issued.

As the title sponsor, Energizer Malaysia will now be taking over Expose Media’s prior commitment to fully distribute all certificates, medals, finishers’ T-shirts, headlights and complimentary gifts to every registered participant in the race.

To this extend, I have nothing else to say but to praise their swift actions. Maybe next year they should appoint Expose Media again... After all, I got to run on the F1 race track at 15 bucks and still got all my goodies. LMAO.
