Academic calender of the university.
General calendar (all the other courses): Academic year of 45 weeks with 8 weeks of holidays in between during mid sem breaks and semester breaks; not including the end of semester 2 long holiday.
Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery: Year 1
5 weeks holidays, plus the 1 month long holiday at the end of year 1.
Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery: Year 2
5 weeks holidays, plus 4 weeks of elective posting, which can be considered as holidays...
Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery: Clinical years
Forgot about phase IIIA, which is the Year 3 in Klang. Year 4+5 which is about 1.5 years after coming back from Klang lasted for 81 weeks in total. 4 weeks of holidays without any semester breaks in between.
And these compared to the academic calender for the other courses: 8 weeks of holidays in a 45 weeks academic year. Sigh... Why did I have this ambition when I was young? So bloody tiring lor... -.-"
But of course... what awaits at the end of the 81 weeks would probably be the happiest holiday. Graduation! Pray pray pray for me, pretty pleaseeeeeeee....
