On the Quake in the House

What's with the new home theater series and all, Dad was even more excited than I was, to the extent of going to the video store and started to pick up DVDs to test out the speakers. -.-

So we ended up watching action packed movies until way past midnight almost every night. Speakers were blasted to a level where, you could literally feel your heard skipped a beat with each thumpa-thumpa.

However, mum was so ever scared that the loudness of those punches and kicks would shatter the whole condo, that sometimes when we're at half of the movie, she would start to ask us tune down the volume.

Mum: Later we get complaints then you know.

Dad: Where got lah. Next door still not occupied.

Mum: Aiyo, I'm very scared lah. The whole floor shaking already you know.

Dad: Where got lah. I didn't feel anything also.

Mum: Of course you don't. You're not sitting right at the middle here facing the screen.

Dad resisted till the end. Mum can't do anything but to watch the rest of the movie with us. Many times she said her heart almost explode... Couldn't stand those shootings or bombings.

Now that I look back at it, I realized we were pretty violent picking all those 18SG movies. LOL.
