On Live-less

Ever since I had my Windows Vista a few months ago, I've since started developing my liking for this version of windows despite the many complains from the other users. I think it's pretty user-friendly, and the same goes to the Live Messenger as well. Keeps me connected to my friends and allows me to chat with them when both parties are online like how I loved my MSN messenger.

But unfortunate things happened a while ago. I failed to log into the messenger programme, the error shown was that my contact book wasn't updated and I was told to log in again later. So I waited patiently for a few hours before I tried logging in again. In the past, the log in would be successful. I guessed I must've lost my patience that day when I got totally annoyed and attempted to uninstall the programme and reinstall it again.

I went through the proper channel of uninstalling the messenger programe, but only to learn that it was practically unremovable. So out of furstration, I deleted the programe folder entirely from the (C) drive. I knew it was a stupid idea. So I went back to uninstalling the programe from the buttons in the control panel only to learn that the file was not found. I failed to restore the file from my Recycle Bin, and the icon on the desktop didn't lead me to the programme anymore.

So, I seek help online and tried to remove the REG files via the command box, but it was unsuccessful as well!

But when I tried to reinstall it again, the bloody installer detected that I STILL HAVE it in my lappie! I couldn't access the programme, yet I couldn't locate where it is, and I couldn't uninstall it entirely to reinstall it again! I was pissed!

I got so fed up in the end and decided to give up. It was a big BIG decision. I practically give up half the reason of me going online when I gave up restoring the messenger programme. And I knew I would go berserk in less than one week...

And I did.

I was Live-less...
