On Mum's Visit

Mum's in KL. Weeeee! :D

She travelled alone from the hometown to KL all by herself! The first time too! Dad couldn't come as there's something to deal with in his office. But when Mum told me what he did, it downed to me that Dad really love her! Just that, well, he's the kind who never showed his affections lar.

He sent Mum to the airport around noon yesterday, flight of 2pm. And when Mum entered the terminal, he watched from the deck and saw her walking towards a different direction rather than the normal terminal for Air Asia. So he quickly sent a message and asked Mum whether she was even sure where she was going, and Mum being in working lady and obviously not illiterate, laughed at him for being too worried, and told him that she's already boarding the plane.

Well... Dad's not the only one worried about mum's safety travelling alone. We're all just worried. So sis took a bus and went up to LCCT to meet up with Mum. When she touched down in the terminal, she was surprised to see Sis there waiting. And Dad was worried sick that she'd get lost. But when he got the news that Sis was there, he sighed of relief. And only after he was sure that they both reached PJ safely, he stopped worrying. Awww... lame, but heart-warming indeed. :P

So anyways, she'll be here for a week, staying at sis's place, and will be driving down to Nilai almost everyday to send some herbal chicken soup for the little brother who's sitting for his AS level exams. Since little brother said that he didn't do well in his last papers which took place on the day Grandma left this world, Dad's worried that he might not be able to do well in his exams, that he asked Mum to come over and watch over the little brother. Now if you're wondering why my parents are so concern about him, they do. To all of us. And yea, I've known that all along. Just that sometimes, I took forgranted of what they've done. Sins are all on me...

Anyway, it is a great pleasure that Mum's over in KL. Although I wouldn't be with her the whole week she's here, at least I did spent a night in the hotel room with her and sis. Now that she's here for the week, and Dad said they probably be flying over during Christmas, he asked Mum to take us shopping. Which, isn't a good time, since the Christmas sale hasn't even started.

But we did went shopping anyways. I helped them ladies picked some really nice black coloured blouse. Mum look magnificent in hers, with touch-ups, she would really be a head-turner in dinners. Picked another black blouse with frills for sis, it's time for her to grow up and dress like a lady, no more t-shirts and jeans. BLOUSE!!! She's been stubborn, but with her doing research nowadays, she realized she needed to dress decently herself. Heee...

I on the other hand... Hmmm... Nothing special lah. Nothing caught my eye, except from Key Ng's latest jacket design. Even Mum said it's nice and was asking me to just get it if I really like it. I adore his designs, just... well... I think I don't need a new one just yet, considering I've already got 4 of them in my wardrobe. Hah.

Shall wait for the christmas sale. Will drag someone along and go into all those individual shops in Mid Valley like what I did 2 years ago. La la la.

Agreed that Key Ng is good. How about Jonathan Cheng? Appreciate your your parents for all sacrifices. You've such a close family! So jealous.

Awwww....typical Chinese conservative man who is tight lipped but really warm at heart, that's sweet of your dad. Can imagine his and everyone's concern regarding mom traveling alone. I think I'll have a fit if my mom does that!
