On Shoes Collection

My dear dear old pal... I know we've been together since 3 years ago. You walked me to class everyday, all the way from the dorm to the lecture hall, taking up till 10 minutes of walking. For one whole year. Yet you never grumbled. And when I came to medical school, again, you accompanied me through one and a half years. Yet I couldn't bring myself to throw you away. Am really sorry though, that I have to give you away now... It's all me... All me... Good bye my dear...

As for you my loafers, I know it's barely a year that we're together. You didn't even walked me more than 20 times. But I still remember our first time was down in KLCC. I know it's all my fault I don't love you as much as the other shoes. And honestly, I just dumped you aside after Father gave me his pair of sandals he bought when the family visit last Christmas. Somehow things just didn't worked out between us as well. You started to tear little by little, and it was just in time that Father gave me his sandals before he left for the airport on his leather shoes. So you see, I was then engaged to his sandals instead of you... Am terribly sorry. And you were left outside the house together with the others until now....

The landlord called and said he'll be bringing people to come see the house tomorrow afternoon. I mean Thursday afternoon. And he asked that we all at the very least arrange our shoes outside the house. We understood it might be, erm, a little bit messy out there. But what do you expect when there are actually 8 of us living in this unit. And to consider each of us averagely have 3 pairs of shoes, sports, leather and sneakers, it's not surprising that the doorstep might be a bit unsightly. Not to forget, we also have 2 females in the house whom one of them, is actually a pretty beautiful lady. If you get what I mean.

And of course, the other guy who owns a wardrobe of ties.

I was clearing out the old leather shoes and loafers and some of the empty boxes and smelly socks whoever they belonged to, that I came across another sandals like one Troy wore. I seldom wear that, but I wore it for a while during the brief period after the loafer opened his mouth and before Father gave me his. So they were all aligned along the wall. Father's sandals, the Troy-like sandals, together with a pair of sneakers I wore on my trip down South, as well as another pair of leather shoes Father got me when he saw my old leather shoes were starting to peel. But I didn't wear them and had sis keeping them for me until my turning 21.

Then I turned around. And I saw more shoes. During the family's visit when the brother entered college, I asked Father to get me another pair of leather shoes because the one I was wearing wasn't really comfortable. Apparently, it wasn't genuine leather, and I suspect it's more of PVC because the 'skin' is peeling as well. Gosh it's pretty fugly. I know I can still wear it, but to think I have at least 2 hours of rounds to cover in clinicals... Mum joked that I need to scare the ghost away when I picked the new one for the noise the wooden heels makes.

There's also a new pair of sport shoes and outing sneakers that I bought at the same time I bought the new leather shoes. I mean, at the same time Father bought me the new shoes. So that makes I me having 7 pairs of footwears. Wait... 8 including another plastic Croc-like sandals I left outside.

Heh. I own as much footwears as the girl housemate. If not more. I'm such a metro. LMAO.

Oooo wait. I have another pair of leather shoes. The brother gave it to me because he couldn't wear it. I thought it was pretty uncomfortable, especially the Archilles tendon area. If you know what I mean. But what the heck, it's new. I couldn't possibly turn down a new shoes right? After all, me and the brother, we wear the same size now. Shirts, pants, and now shoes...

So that makes a total of 9 footwears...

I shall need a room for my wardrobe by the time I graduate. If I get to. Keeping my fingers crossed...
