It's only the 4th day of CNY. Who would want to leave home and get back to the daily hustle of schools and books that early?! Mind you, it's not even the Human Day (yes yes, direct translation. :P) the Cantonese celebrating even. And classes on the 5th day?! Ridiculous ridiculous ridiculous!
But then again, we've booked our flight months ago, and delaying it now wouldn't be the littlest bit worth it. Since flight were scheduled at 1105, I supposed we would have some time to spend. Perhaps another bowl of Kolo Mee. *LMAO* Who knows, I could really 'ta-pau'-ed some and bring it over and let those Penisular-ians have a bite on the dish.
However, due to some lagging here and there, and the drop by at gram's place for the birthday wishes, we only reached the mini KLIA at 10a.m. Yea yea, I know we're blardy 'early', but it's not like we're new to checking in. 2 hours before boarding the flight is really ridiculously too early. What the blardy things can we do at the airport anyway? 2 blardy long hours, we could really drop by at the kopitiam, drop by at gram's place, hang out a bit before boarding the plane.
To our utter amazement and jaw-dropping shock, what we saw at the check in countersss was a scene we never seen before. We flew MAS this time round, Air Asia was not any cheaper compared to MAS as we booked our ticket late. We didn't expect that many people to fly MAS, really, although we do hear that a lot of our counterparts who are studying over here would be flying MAS. But THAT MANY?! We bumped into a few friends as well too! And having that MANY flyers, there's definitely some eye-candies. *sniggering*
As the clock was ticking by, we got more and more agitated. We are pretty sure the boarding gate closes 10 minutes before departure. And seriously, there were still 4 person in front of us when it was already 1035.
Blardy hell... I walked straight to the check in counter, the old man tending the flyers was typing with two of his pointer finger. And I asked "Can you get us checked in first? Our flight is at 1105." Well, who wouldn't be agitated right? And really, it isn't rude that we do that, since we did paid for the ticket already, and it's not a budget airline, we should have our priorities, it's 20 minutes before departure!!! But to the greatest irritance, old man answered "Don't worry, don't worry, you have to queue up first, it'll be your turn soon."
Sis then asked the man standing in front if he could let us check in first, for that man was holding a stack of 10 passports at least, and there were like, at least half a house and a dozen boxes waiting to be cargo-ed. And as expected, he's one selfish blardy arrogant git. "No way. Our flight is also at 1205." Seriously! Of 1105 and 1205, is he a mental retard? How can he be so blardy.... MEAN?! When it's finally our turn, I was totally beaten and annoyed. And I'm sure the old man were pretty scared of myself showing that serious a face. *sniggering* He didn't even dare to look at me! *LOL*
We ran to the departure hall, bade goodbye to the family, and rushed up to the imigration clearance. Blardy hell, it was again a long queue. Heart beating, we couldn't help ourselves but to ask the Indonesian family standing before us to be kind and let us have our turn first. Thank God there's still good peoples around.
We ran and ran and ran. Blardy terminal located blardy damn far, with me blardy growing horizontally non stop over the past one week, and that I haven't blardy been working on the blardy gastrocnemious muscle since the blardy past one month, blardy lactic acid accumulating all so blardy fast. We reached the departure gate to find all the passengers boarded the plane. The air steward standing at the far end of the waiting hall just smiled looking at us panting as if we've just finished a 100 metre race.
Yeah, finally we boarded the airbus. Beaten. Annoyed. Angry. Tired. Sad. Sheets. I need something to compensate all the good things I'm missing at home... It's grandma's 81st birthday bash today! And my sleep! And my bed! And the teddies. The DVDs. The Prosperity Foooooood. The Kolomeelaksasiube what not. The Friends. And of course the Family... I sooo need some good cheering... None of the air stewards or stewardesses are cute enough, though they were very much friendlier compared to the old man at the check-in counter. Darn...
Perhaps the familiar faces and places back in Klang Valley could do some coaxing. Gosh I so need to get a good hard spanking. Exams coming, presentation Weds, presentation freaking farking tomorrow. Bleh.
