The 1st to turn 21st

We stormed through the rain and drove to Jaya Supermarket. We thought of getting books from Popular, and since it rained cats and dogs, some shelter would help. Still wearing the formal clothes from the practicals that only ended by 5pm, we later decided to get a wallet instead. Purse I mean. I roughly remembered there was a florist somewhere there, KW asked for the help of getting a bouquet of rose while he and CH went down to the jammed-up SS2 to get the birthday cake. To our dismay, we were told the florist moved opposite the road to Jaya33.

However, being such good friends we are, KK and I drove over anyhow. It was my first time at Jaya33 indeed, pretty sure it's his first as well. We came across a florist alright, but the flowers on displayed were basically artificials. We walked around again, saw lots of restaurants and cafes, but headed back to that florist. True enough, it's a florist indeed. Fresh flowers were refrigerated. While waiting for the bouquet of flowers, the taukeh-nio engaged us in a simple chitty-chat I'm still amused at.

Florist: Do come back to us and book flowers for Valentine's Day!
Me: Erm... we're gay.

Honestly, that sooo did not happen.

Anyway, after we finally made it safely back at home, got changed, we headed down to the girls' house. Mind you, there were still lots of cats and dogs flying down from the sky. There were a total of 13 medies including ourselves, and 2 dentals at the gathering. And that was then I started to stuff myself up with all those meats, and easily gained 1kg in 2 hours.

2 hours later, we found ourselves sitting on the floor playing games with the cards.

Girl1: Wait! I don't believe him!
Guy1: Don't believe me? Open it then!
Girl1: Aaaargh!!!!

Finally, as the new date's approaching, it's cake time. It wasn't crazy though. There's no icing on the faces. No food war. No kissing. And no solo-ing the birthday song even! But true enough, KW went creative with the cake. He bought some fireworks thingy and the cake was lighted up pretty nicely. Neat one really. Too bad I didn't get the piccies of the cake in fireworks though. There was a "The Making of..." video being recorded then. Of course, the flower handing over ceremony, where everyone was forcing the guy to kiss the girl. But... effort went in vain.

After the cake, the kids gone back to the cards. There's 2 more medies joining us. True enough, it got even louder. The whole thing ended with not that big a bang, but I was a bit dizzy, since it's way passed my sleeping time, and I've literally gulped down the one and only Carlsberg in the girls' home. >.<

Right, if you were wondering, the birthday girl is KW's girlfriend.
