The St Barbara Cathedral in Kutna Hora is one of the cathedral that actually left quite an impression in me; because I still remember it's St Barbara even 3 months later! LOL. It is built by the same architect who built St Vitus in the castle in Prague, which explains some of the similarities. But what differentiates this one from all the other churches/cathedrals that I visited are the three spiraling rooftops. Atypical.
There was of course, a small amount of entrance fee into the church, but trust me, it's all worth it. The last picture was an original painting inside the church that survived through the years, depicting that of the skilled workers.
St Barbara has quite an impressive painted glass windows as well, but I shall leave that for the next post.

What a nice cathedral! : )
do you get a guide to explain all these to you? Or you refer to books? cause most of the time I realized travelling is about knowing the place well, then only can enjoy and appreciate what we see...
Thanks for sharing.
