Went temple hopping on the 6th day of CNY. Woke up as early as 5 in the morning to go to 青山岩 at the hill at the mouth of the river. It was drizzling, but that didn't stop the kids from getting to the top for the vegetarian kolo-mee - my sister overheard a kid who just arrived at the top of the staircase panting, exclaiming to his parents who arrived later, "Oh so tired... Eat noodle first..."
For a while I was wondering what has the parents done, to imprint kolo mee at the temple as the main reason to go for prayer?
After about an hour, we headed down to the city to another temple to 林华山。It was just for a quick prayer as we had some other official errands later in the morning.
Kinda heart-warming reminiscing the old times when we would visit these temples especially before any major exams when we were still in school...
