There's this square at the side of the Forbidden City which was paved up. Not sure if it already was since the past or was restored. But looking at the vast area of emptiness... The first thing that came into my mind was, what the fish did they do here?! LOL. The area is as big as 2 football field... Or more...

Oh oh I read about that; it was for large ceremonial functions since lesser officials were not even allowed to go beyond that area.
