On Beijing in Photos #7: Tai Xue Gate

This picture was actually a signage explaining about the name of a door in the Imperial College in Beijing "Tai Xue Gate". But what caught my attention was the first sentence. "Since the Han Dynasty, "Tai Xue" means the highest education institution in the country."

15 years ago, when I was still a young boy in the small town far away from any big city, the biggest ambition anyone could have was to be accepted into a university.

15 years later, it seems like everyone comes out from a university. How time have passed huh?
