Oh well, I think it was either during Mahathir's or Abdullah's time that entrance to Sarawak for West Malaysians no longer needing an international passport.
I have always thought it was a great that, when Tun Jugah signed the memorandum to form Malaysia back in 1957, he followed the leader of Sabah (can't recall his name suddenly), that people of both Sabah and Sarawak has some special privileges.
And one of that privileges was that, West Malaysians, i.e. those born in peninsular Malaysia need an international passport to enter Sarawak; but not vice versa.
But yeah... I think it was either during Mahathir's or Abdullah's time that this rule was scrapped; with the reason that we are actually one country.
So yeah, now that you enter Sarawak, you just need your identity card. Bleh.
No fun.
