Remember back in the days when Singaporean can enter Malaysia via Johore without the need of International Passport? When there was this travel pass or something. Not sure if it applies now still, I enter Singapore with my international passport alright.
So... the Singaporean friend of mine, planning his trip to Damai Beach in Kuching, bought the tickets, booked the resort, and all set to fly for his dream holiday with his ex-girlfriend.
And he stood at the airport terminal, looking at the boarding gate, and all his planning failed.

Yes even people from West Malaysia have to enter Sarawak using passport. Sabahan also same, have to use passport or fill a form. Sarawak have this condition when Sarawak become part of Malaysia
After reading your previous post, for west Malaysian to go to Sarawak, they can enter Sarawak using ID but would have to fill the card. Sarawak still want independence I guess.
