So, as a round up of the class we had with the lecturer yesterday... She asked that a group mate and I, go back to read up on certain stuff, as our homework. Out of the 8 people, we're the two unlucky ones.
Group-mate was asked to read up on why this ESR rate is raised in any form of infection...
While I, despite managed to answer what type of antibiotic to be given in different group of patients who got infected with infective endocarditis based on the different aetiology, failed to tell her the dosage for the different types of antibiotics used... And hence, I was to go and read up on the treatment for the infections with their dosages...
Reading about it as our homework is one thing, but the homework was that, after we read up that night, we were to call her up the next day after her clinic and tell her about it! Like, seriously?!
I know it's for a good cause. She's being responsible and all. And we were to benefit from her actions and all.
But...
But...
I forgot!
When I asked the groupmate 2 days later whether he remembered about the homework...
"OMG! Did you call?" He was panicking.
