What's with the finals in just a month, celebrating Chinese New Year didn't seem to be much of a hoo-ha this year. I just wasn't in the mood for relaxing, when there are piles of notes on the table. So when the one week break finally arrived, I actually have forgotten that I would be going home for the CNY!
Me: I'm going home for CNY?
Parents: Yeah, you said ok to buy the ticket last year before Christmas.
Me: Oh...
Parents: Why? You don't wanna go back? You wanna stay in KL to study is it? If you are then we'll come over.
Me: No no, it's okay. I'll go back.
Very much reluctantly, it seems. It's just that, well... Nevermind. I'm sure I can study at home. Have my psychiatry and orthopaedics books for the week back home.
Partly also because... I thought of going to the temple. And... I might not be able to be at home so often anymore once I start working.
So...
Mummy Daddy, I'm coming home for CNY.
