There was the rumor of this baby in the ward, sent in by the police. New born. Found inside a plastic bag hanged at the fence of a bungalow. Inside the plastic bag, there was a bottle of baby oil and 2 pieces of baby clothing, and a bottle of milk. Not sure what milk was that. But the baby looked fine when we saw him in the ward. The doctors said the baby was healthy too, and could be discharged in 2 days.
So a friend asked the doctor, "Where will the baby be sent to?"
Doctor, "The social welfare department." Coldly.
Poor baby. Poor poor baby. We all felt pity for him.
Doctor, "Or you can take him home."
We only managed to smile.
