On the Visit to TTDI Ramadhan Bazaar

Picture
It was the fasting month. The gastric juice was boiling for some food feast, especially when Ramadhan Bazaars were all over in town! So one fine afternoon, I finally headed out to the one in TTDI. Used to visit the night market there on Sunday night, so I thought it'd be pretty much the same as that. But I was quite disappointed in the end.

Traffic was really bad. The stalls were set up all along the road, with limited parking space already, it was a miracle that we could actually find a space to park, albeit it was an illegal one.

Food were a lack of variety. Bought a caramel pudding and it tasted like... I can't describe. The long queue for the seemingly nice spring roll turned out to be just average. The only thing that went without comments were the drinks, thirst quenching. But otherwise... The tomato rice was really tasteless. Chicken was too hard. Puddings were the taste of condensed milk. Murtabak was plain flour!

But then again, from the perspective of those who've fasted for a whole day, anything goes. I'm sure they could wallop a whole cow even.

One thing for sure, such a food feast was something fun. Especially when there were so many interesting frames to shoot. Too bad though, I didn't have my proper camera with me. But the camera phone served his purpose well. And I thought it turned out quite alright after the heavy photoshopping. LOL.

I mean, seriously, as mentioned by the Tourism Minister, or whoever it was, the Ramadhan Bazaars were really quite a tourist attraction.

Or maybe I should rephrase, they were quite a picture of multi-racial harmony. As long as no political plays were in the picture.

With that, Happy Holidays everyone! To me, most importantly. LMAO!
