Skeletal traction. Basically just to pull the fractured bones and reduced it back to the normal alignment for the promotion of healing.
But of course, we were stuck when the MO asked us what was the criteria in choosing skeletal traction over skin traction.
And we stared back at the doctor, without answers.
Age. Weight. Site. Bone density. Speed of traction. Erm dunno.
