On the Burnt Contracture

We saw this poor fella in the clinic.

Wonder how any of us would cope living with such trouble. Apparently, the poor fella was trapped in a fire or something, suffered from major burns on his face and arms, leading to some permanent contractures on his hands. His fingers were all deformed, there were large blisters on his palm, and he could even flex his wrist...

And he was still smiling despite all those frustrations.

I couldn't imagine how I could live without my beautiful hands...

I did learn a lot from patients. Sometimes patients heal doctors from inside.

i think ppl will have to be positive when they have no other choice..
m trying to be optimistic as often as possible :)

Apparently, survival is human's instinct. Make do with what you have right now, appreciation comes into place.

Learn from the patient, it helps to open up our mind....

if u work in hospital, sure a lot of sad cases u come across each day.. u r doing a noble job..
