On the ADHD

ADHD stands for attention deficit hyperactive disorder. Many doesn't deem this as a mental illness, and most just thought it's their kids being naughty.

In fact, I have a cousin whom I suspect, has this condition. He just couldn't sit still, failed to concentrate in class, and failed miserably. He would actively be moving around, climbing up and down, and talks excessively. He fidgets a lot, couldn't listen to commands, and most often than not, his mother would lose her patience and started canning him. Poor boy really. But they've got no idea he needs some help.

Now that he's in his adolescent years, I suppose he's better now; just as how kids with ADHD classically would. Somehow, his hyperactivity lessen down now that he spends most of his time in front of the computer playing games and all. And his parents decided to send him overseas to do programming.

We'll just see how things go. Who knows he could still be a successful person in the future; despite he's still being a subject of bully in school. Apparently, there were a lot of famous people who have this disorder as well;

Then again, here's for you who read, hyperactive kids shouldn't be punished. They might have ADHD. Talk to your child psychiatrist now!
