So there we were, finally found our way to Esplanade, despite the ever confusing financial district downtown of Singapore, what's with all those high rise and lack of sense of direction at 5 in the morning. It was breezy, but the view of the Marina was breath-taking.
We just sat there waiting for the sun to rise. It was a quiet morning. Definitely different from what it was in the day when tourists from all over the world flock the Esplanade to take photo with the symbol of this island nation.
Before I could get ready, we were greeted with the first sound of the fountain for the day. The splashing of the water from the Merlion broke the silence at the break of dawn.
Soon enough, more and more avid photographers came to the place. Gigantic cameras were set up to capture the first ray of light from the sun.
Finally, we saw the light. The first light of the day... It was as though there was a very massive fire behind those clouds...
But then again, what is there to be feared of when you know you're in the thoughts of someone who care, physically and emotionally. For all these beautiful moments, despite the heat that may be, there's always the memories of the good times instead of the otherwise.
