Walking along in the main corridor in the hospital clad in our white coat sometimes brings this weird feeling as all the patients sitting around were staring at us. There's some sense of pride, but there's also some sense of being self-conscious, like, okay I'm not exactly the most handsome guy on earth... But I'd rather not have that much of an attention.
SO...
One day, while heading towards the elevator, there was this young boy and his mother walking in a different direction. We weren't exactly crossing path, I was on this side of the walkway, and they were on the other side of the wall, we were separated by at least 4 meters away.
But the little boy was so ever excited seeing me and was pointing at me while he shouted excitingly at his mum, "Mummy, doctor doctor!"

I do pay extra attention when I see those in white coats, coz it's nice to be able to see all the stains they accumulate! lolz

aww... then have pride 24 hours. don't doubt urself. u work so hard just to be what u r. don't throw it away.
as opposed to what in anton's mind, the lab coat could be dirtier than a sewage treatment plant. Beware...
