On Hartzing Chicken Buffet

The last time I visited Hartz Chicken Buffet must've been more than a year ago in Summit, and somehow without me knowing, that place actually closed down when I went back again a few weeks back, only to find out they relocated to Sunway Pyramid instead.

I first came to know about Hartz Chicken Buffet when I was still in Kuching really. It was either a Kuchingite brought the franchise into the country from the States, or somehow they've tried everywhere else and only the branch in Kuching survived over the years. I personally think it's the former.

And so, since I haven't been Hartzing for so long, somehow the cravings started again, and I headed over to the newly relocated branch in the pyramid. It was located in the lower ground floor, with the signboard so big and red anyone should stop walking. Some foreign worker came out to greet the passerby, before he got lucky when I headed straight into the shop.

I find the chicken quite oily. There are only two types of chicken sadly. I thought there would be more. Roasted chicken was quite nice. Didn't try out the organs as I was almost bloated with 4 pieces of chicken breast. The salad bar was quite alright, though the soup was pretty sadly cooked. Only Coke is available, but at least they serve King's ice cream for dessert. Other than that, there were also rice and some vegetables and mashed potatoes. Gotta say the mashed potatoes was quite a well job done.

I think it'll be a nice place for gathering really, as laughter would pretty much help digest the food, and allows you to eat more. LOL.

Forgot about the price, but it was quite reasonable, RM20 or somewhere around that if I'm not mistaken. ;)

Gives me a reason to drop by Pyramid. Haven't had Hartz in ages. Actually thought it had closed down.

My hometown used to only have Hartz chicken (no Starbucks, coffeebeans, Japanese restaurant etc.) Hence the only hangout was to eat fired chicken.

I think my fried chicken crave started from there. I think they are ancient.
