All my life, the grade A, B and C are considered pass while that of D and E means the student failed.
But in my school, it's possible that you fail even if your grade is A, B or C.
Curious?
Our examination comes with one final grade, and one final result, pass or fail. Those who passed with flying colours probably are called for viva distinction, qualified with a grade of A. But most of us, or well, me at the least, have been wishing for a pass, C would be sufficient.
But the challange part is, in order to get the "Pass" print, we have to pass all the individual papers. Should we fail in one of the four papers we are sitting for, we'd be getting "Fail" instead despite the final grade is of those categorized as "Pass" in all of the other cases.
Adventurous eh?
So much so that, almost all the time, you get your confidence killed to level 0 regardless of what your final grade is should you failed to make it pass 50% in one of the papers you sat for.
Nevertheless, I'm so ever grateful. My notes posted on facebook regarding the Result Day garnered 15 likes in less than a day from my colleagues who read it. But really, I seriously am happy, just that well... I'm sorry if I don't seemed like it... A poker face? That's the most unusual comment I ever heard of. LOL

:) that means your medical school has a very stringent standard in grading our nation future Doctor!
That explain, not all of you will graduate on time right? Don't worry.. be happy, enjoy student life.
well, as long as you have passed it, no body really cares about the grade right?? since you mean the grade does not guarantee you a pass..
Grade A ~ Gagal!????????
So weird.
+Ant+
Failed, but with A or B or C grade?
I'm confused...

just becks, that's true indeed! that's why some people ended with more than 5 years in med school.
SK, that's true! LOL. as long as the doctor know what he's doing right? haha
Pete, Gratitude, Michelle, KW: it's actually just for fun, i edited the photo using photoshop, although some would have seen the C with gagal one. it happens because well, some fail one paper. and in this case, as i've put it, when u fail one paper, u fail the exam as a whole, even if ur overall grade is C and above. so poor lads gagal lor...
