The soulmate brought me to this hidden paradise in the midst of the city, in between all those high rise condos and all. Now if he didn't bring me there, I wouldn't have known such a place still exist.
It's so secluded that there isn't any road signs or whatsoever that could be an indication for the outsiders. It's only known to those who have been there, and those who live in the neighbourhood.
When we enter, we pass through this pavement road, similar to that of a cobblestone road. But with the heavy trucks that pass through this serene residential area spoils the road.
When we finally reach this residential house-turned shop, it reminded me of my grandpa's house. The floor was of rough cement covering, with lots of trees that make the compound shaddy and, well, the shop owner installed a fan, so it was windy as well.
We ordered Hokkien noodle and this thing called "shu fan gan"... Not even sure if I got it right. Even when the soulmate ordered that dish, he was like "the square-ish thing, black colour one." I would've looked at him puzzled if I were the waiter. We also had wanton soup.
It all came down to quite a reasonable price in the end. Too reasonable to believe that this place is smacked right in the middle of the Kuala Lumpur city.
Can you recognize the place? :P
