"Shooting star!"

"There, that star there... Pass dy..."
"Did you make a wish..."
"Huh?"
"You're supposed to make a wish when you see a shooting star ma. You didn't know mei?"
"I know... but it's so fast..."
And there we were, sitting on the sandy beach, pitch black in the night, enjoying all the stars in the sky. Night breeze blew upon our face as we talk about the most uncommon things on earth. Never have I seen so many stars in the sky before. The whole sky was basically lighted with twinkling stars, maybe some permenant ones that he said was actually the man-made satellite. Even then, it's still a sight to behold.
If only there were more of such a night where we could all sit down and enjoy the sights to behold... If only there were more of such a night where we were all so care-free and could watch the sky letting the time goes by... If only...
Then maybe we could see another shooting star again...

I've seen quite a lot of shooting stars at Redang Island last year. But I never thought of making any wish lo.
BTW, who is that "We"? Hehe..
I saw a shooting star once, and being young kid then, I wished for a Barbie.
It came true! But instead of just getting one, I got 3 Barbies.
If I had known the "power" of a shooting star, I would've wished to be the richest person instead. lol!
hmm .. its been long time for me to walk and enjoy the ocean breathe on the beach..... must go out from the city soon...
Maybe one can throw coins into the wishing well instead? :p
