I brought the siblings to Dong Zen temple yesterday. And something happened.
We were standing outside the exhibition hall of the Buddha's relic stone. I was so busy about telling my sister about the stories of why there's a version of Kuan Yin with thousands of hands when suddenly it fell down from above. Died instantly. Just a few inches away from us.
We looked at it. Stunned. No one could possibly do that to another living being in a monastery. No one dared to, I'm sure. We walked over and tried to take a closer look. And we look around. We have no idea what to do...
And we went into the exhibition hall, forgetting about the little poor thing.
It troubled me. The bird, all out of a sudden.

The trip did do wonders to you, since it gave you the chance to contemplate about the impermanence of life. For me, I will say some prayers and dedicate for it's better rebirth. ^_^

Ant, It came as a surprise to me. And I didn't know how to say a prayer. I just say NamoAmitabha before I took the photo...
