It happens all the time. And I mean at ALL times.
If you're driving from Klang towards KL along Federal Highway, you'd be slow down in this stretch of road with a junction heading into Old Klang Road. Not sure what highway is it, but it always frustrates me. Once you passed that junction, traffic becomes smooth again.
And if you're really driving from Klang from where I am, you'll definitely be annoyed with the jams at this junction after the bridge across the river in front of the income tax building. They closed down part of the road for the construction of a new roads. Upgrading the road from Kapar to Klang or something. And when it comes to peak hours, you can expect to be caught in the jam for at least 40 minutes just for a stretch of road less than 1km.
And if you're driving from KL towards Klang, you'll be frustrated by all the cars slowing down about 2 kilometres before you reach the LDP flyover next to Sunway. I just don't get why cars even on the right lane need to slow down when they're not even turning into Sunway. Blardy hell.
So when you passed the 2nd toll plaza heading into Klang town, the bridge where they closed down for the upgrade of Klang-Kapar link causes massive jam as far as 3 kilometres away. Imagine cars moving an inch by an inch with breaks causing numbess on the leg...
That's why I've been trying to look for alternative route from the hospital to PJ/KL. Tried Kesas Highway. It's a smooth drive after you leave the flyover, until you reach Subang Jaya. Blardy jams gets you on your neck again.
And if you're coming back to Klang from Kesas Highway, jamming through gazillions of cars right from the exit of Federal Highway into the entry of Kesas Highway is enough to get you on your nerve. And when you're about to exit from Kesas Highway into Bukit Tinggi Klang, you need to wait for 3 cycle of red lights before it's your turn.
So yeah, I'm freaking frustrated with all these jams!

Be like me ler....use Kesas & either leave very early or after peak hour, less heartache :)
Dude, be patient... soon you will be back to PJ right? hehehe ... Send another letter to Santa and wish for no jam... don't forget to copy the work minister wor :-p

Living in KL. We got to used to JAM !!!
No choice... sigh....
Jam is a part and puzzle of my daily routine to work and back .. imagine getting stuck at Summit USJ, Bangsar and Mahameru to PWTC .... I learned to play nice soothing classical music to calm my nerves ...hehe
Drive safely my friend
Ah, of the heartaches endured by so many common Malaysians on the roads due to lack of planning and urban development. So what's new? Just bloody HONK if you're a Malaysian, eh.
keeyit... that's the tolerance we have to make to live in the big city eh?
sbanboy, you must have woken up reaalllly early... haha
nase, thank God I'm not anywhere close to HONK as just yet... hopefully not.. :P
Let's see. You're talking about driving to/from Klang at bloody peak hours. Regardless of which highway you take, you're bound to be caught in traffic! You might as well stay out a couple more hours till the jams subside. Have dinner before going or something.
To avoid traffic on Federal alternative is the NKVE. Still will be stuck from Bukit Raja onwards...
I hate traffic jams! So what do you do in a traffic jam?
Btw, a prize awaits the person who guessed correctly on my blog. Read latest updates : )
janvier, so there's still no way to get from the hosp to kl without the jam.. .:(
foongpc, wat did u do wo?
