We were all preparing for the journal paper we were to hand in to Dr. L on Tuesday, we knew he would have some idea of his own, and there would definitely be some more modifications. Not that I'm sick of it or anything, I've had the same experience when I joined the national level history writing competition back when I was in secondary school, but hey, we emerged national champion! So yeah, if Dr. L spent that many effort in our report, we willingly put in double. Who knows, our report could be submitted to some international journals or something. Not that it was never done before, there were a few reports done by the seniors who won them international awards as well!
But well, we were sorry to say some of our discussions and results were basically done in quite a rushy mood. I've had been doing the report since 9a.m., going online and look into the databases for related journals and researches. I was relatively happy with the introduction part that I wrote. I believed it's the most powerful one I've had wrote in ages! Considering I've not even been writing for a few years by now.
So we did finally finished the 15 page scientific reports on our reflex tests by 1a.m.. It was a great relief to be truthful. My back was aching, my butt was numb, and my shoulders needed some massages. While everyone else hadn't slept, we were thinking of watching Euro 2008. What's with KK telling us it would most probably be the most interesting game in the whole Euro 2008 anyway. The best attack Holland and the best defence Italy. But it was at 2.45a.m.! The guys read through the report before finally printing it out.
Honestly, I'm not that much of a football fan. I've only followed 15 minutes in the opening match of Euro 2008 between Czech Republic and Switzerland, before calling it off and headed to bed. I just didn't find it interesting watching the men running after the ball. All I remembered from the game, Czech Republic has got players who are more good-looking than that of Swiss. *sniggering*
Oh well, we all ended playing DotA anyways. KK followed the game. I was only peeking while waiting for the reborn of my dead hero. But I got to say I'm pretty impressed with the Dutch! The last I followed, it was already 2-0! That's quite some goals the Dutch kicked in.
I called it a day after 3 rounds of DotA, the football match wasn't over by then. It was 4a.m..
And I woke up noon today to find out the Dutch kicked another ball!
