On picking Dota back up

While I was away the whole day tending to my dear lappie, the rest in th group designed and finished the whole poster. Which is great! So all I need to do now would be just to read through, and maybe edit it a bit. Life's so easy now. *sniggering*

Anyway, it's a holiday. So yea, with the dear lappie been away for 2 weeks, and me without any thing to kill time, I decided to play DotA with the guys. We had LAN game, so it was fun fun and more fun!

I didn't know I would find it fun after decided that I would never liked the game when I got bored of it last year. I played for a while before decided it's not my kind of game. I still prefer strategy games like Red Alert or Emperor Rise of Middle Kingdom. Not a fan of SimCity though.

But so far, it has been 2 games throughout the night of DotA with the guys. Not on my laptop, but on the girl's. YL saved a copy into his gf's laptop, for the convenience of another DotA kaki who would come over to play the game sometimes. So it all started with me asking what should I buy and everything, until yea, I find I can be really powerful at times. Just not really against the opponent's heroes. But am a God against those small little beings. *sniggering*

We started at around 8.30p.m. last night, and played for 3 games till 4.00a.m., won 2, lost one. Of course yes, I'm with the same group as the guys, and we were against the computer. Playing against human would not be fun, I can see I'm dead in just 10 minutes. But on the other hand, playing TOGETHER WITH other humans would be fun! But, I'm not saying I'm going to continue playing the game. I'm not a gamer.

I'm just playing because I'm feeling bored. And empty and helpless. And the guys are going back for their long weekend break after the elective programme. And I'm stuck at home. Option 1, read clinical examination textbook. Option 2, go out and drive aimlessly. (ruled out, petrol's killing me!) Option 3, play computer games. What's your verdict?

We played our last game at 2.35a.m., and ended about one hour later, if not longer. And headed out for a super late supper, or supper early breakfast. At KFC that was. Didn't know anywhere else that was opened at 4a.m....

Now what should I do for the weekend? Hmmm... I have the whole house to myself.
