About the Prosperity Food I Can't Stop Feeding On

I'm naming them prosperity food. How could they not be? They prospered, and still prospering, and will still be in the coming days, prospering me with their jaw-dropping fats. And I've been feeling dizzy and having black vision waking up abruptly from the couch after lying down watching tv for one whole hours. Yes, physiologically it's explanable, but on me? That? I'm 20 for God's sake! That thing doesn't happen to a healthy 20 year old with no history of heart attack or embolism...

Yet, I find myself savouring those CNY prosperity food every half an hour. I shook hands before running upstairs whenever there's visitors, and rushed back out into the living room once they're out of the house. My oh my, we have so many visitors this year. Apparently, I've been doing the visiting to my own house for so many times! Mum and Sis were already complaining I'm the one finishing the tray of cakes and not the visitors. *LMAO*

Cakes... cakes... CAKES!

Look at those cakes! Remember the post on me selling fish about the cakes that Mum brought over last November? Lil bro baked that back then. And he baked the cake this time round too. There's also a variety of layered cakes to pamper yourself, pretty much all of them bought from the aunty down in the main Bazaar whom Mum is a loyal customer to.

Wait, what else do we have today? Mum and dad deliberately ordered some dishes from one of the Malays to cater their Malay colleagues. I wouldn't elaborate more on why, but you could figure out. The nasi MINYAK, the beef rendang, curry chicken and chicken rendang... Gosh, they are soooo sinfully ranked at the top of the old food pyramid innit?

cookies and nuts and biscuits and peas and balls...

Though I haven't been tasting more than half of those cookies and biscuits and nuts and beans in the jars and the tupperwares, but I'm sure I would have my hands in them before I board the flight leaving home soon. How could I not be guilty for not stuffing those stuff down my stomach when Mum has been spending bills collecting those varieties?

Waking up at 10a.m., brunch at 11a.m., afternoon tea at 3p.m., dinner at 6p.m., early supper at 9p.m., late supper at 11p.m., very late snack at 1a.m.. It's not a surprise I'm going to get 10kg raise in the already obese-d figure to my height. I suppose I could 1) do some famine-strike when I get back, which does help bringing the figures down drastically; or perhaps 2) I'll cut down on food and spend more time on the recreational facilities around the apartment. Yea yea, you don't have to tell me which is better. I'll opt for the first. Fast, easy, stupid. *sniggering*

Watch out, I'll blog about the "mountain gem ocean taste" we get almost every night in the coming post. It's definitely not a shock to have me not able to fit in my slack next week.

What can I say? It's the CNY, people get prosper! And I do suppose I have the most prosperous family in town. Perhaps in the country even.

How pathetic human beings can be at times. Deliberately get horizontal growth and crying over not able to cut down on the waist figure. But what the heck, have some wine anyone? *grins*

Oops, not wine... that's the grape juice from one of them hampers. LOL Read here
