About the CNY Make Up 'o8

And so, as the CNY drawing closer to an end... Here are the pics of the make up we did to the house. Nothing grand though, as mentioned earlier, our idea of the celebration this year was for the gatherings, and hence nothing fanciful to the house. But then again, Lil Bro was complaining there's not even a feel of CNY if we didn't do any decorations.

And so, we did some touch ups on the front porch. The same old table tennis table. The same old pot of plum blossoms. The same way of putting up the cards we received. Just that, we decided to have the little lanterns stuck onto the table as something new. The effect wasn't as what I'd expect, as we didn't double-sided-taped it to the surface of the table, in case we might spoil the surface altogether. Hence the piece of red paper where those lanterns are stuck on.

The same basket we used last year. Pamelos. Tangerines. The fake gold cubes. The only thing new, would be the 2 bitter guard sis brought home. The same glass filled with seashells. The same stalk of fake flowers. Dad printed out the family portrait we took last year alright. That was something fresh. Last year, if I'm not mistaken, we had the family portrait that we took even earlier, say 5 years ago.

But ah well... everything looks similar to last year's to me.

How could they not? I was responsible innit? *sniggering*
