For The Money I Cannot Have Back

Right. It's the last Sunday before I'm leaving the bustling city for another city, but comparatively less-bustling by a quarter or less. Not-in-school fellas aren't around, so was bugging the housemates. It's not that I'm putting not-in-school fellas a priority, it's just that, in-school fellas aren't really always willing to go bumping aimlessly in the city. But somehow, KW was the one suggesting that we had a day out. So, with a bit of additional bugging, we were already out to to venture the pre-CNY decorations. The convoy of 7 (4 guy housemies plus 3 girls from the house downstairs, including Dr. Tan herself, which, honestly, for her to go out on a weekend, is very very rare.) left home at 11a.m., and headed over to the Bintang Walk.

The funny thing was, none of us were really sure of which route to take to the shopping zone. 2 of the Penisular guys are familiar with the road from our place up till Puduraya, while I made it to the malls twice from Dataran Merdeka via KLCC. I'd have taken the route from Mid Valley instead of Bangsar, but we missed the junction, and ended up seperated at the roundabout in front of the National Mosque. Yeap, there were two cars. Eventually, we ended up calling the other party every other minute asking and confirming where we were. I made a mistake thinking the 3rd junction at the roundabout leads into the city, when it's actually Jalan Tugu. *Darn* Made another round, and KW missed us. Eventually, he made a U-turn and headed all the way back to KL Central. *sheeesh* We were making arangements to meet in front of the Padang Merdeka and that building whatever, but our arangements somehow were pretty much in vain as they drove past without even noticing us cam whoring in front of the field! Yeap yeap, we were tad bored. *LMAO*

Eventually, we came to terms that we'd just meet up at Sg Wang instead. We guys roughly know the way, while KW and the girls had some guidance from one of the girls' uncle. They made it to the place earlier, but little did they know, we had our reasons to jam all the way since from the back of Pavilion to get to Lot 10. We told them that we would want to park at Lot 10, but they were too stubborn. *shakes heads* In the end, they're the ones complaining alright. Not us. They parked inside Imbi Plaza. *tsk tsk tsk* But then again, I wouldn't know how to get to the parking of Lot 10 if I were from his direction. *sniggering* We met up for a short lunch before everyone started the shopping spree.

KK and I got our gadgets at Low Yatt before returning to the stuffy crowded place. Sg. Wang isn't actually my mall. I never could get anything there. All too young, and only fashions for those who are not faint-hearted. I'd want a hat though, and a jacket. As well as a scarf. As how CH put it, lots of the shirts for the kids nowadays are like, V-neck shirts, either with nothing else between the wide angled neck that would show the pecs, or with some cloths in between that makes the shirt looks as if you're wearing 2 shirts. Ah well, the designs will fade away eventually. I saw my BillaBONG again for sure, but they're out of reach. 200 bucks for a broad shorts I get at 70 bucks at BodyGlove. While the shoppers go grabbing their CNY clothes, and that KK and I did ours, or rather I did mine and KK rougly had some bad incident in the family, we just roamed around with the shoppers. We saw some events at the centre court alright. 1) Trio hot dudes called Sunboyz, and 2) a local new female artist, Yisa (or something like that, I basically do not know). Of course, there's also 3) the acrobatic show with the acrobats wearing skin-wear. And by skin-wear, yea, you can actually see every corner of their body, the abs, the groin and the little thing hanging there, the vah-jay-jay for the females as well as the cheeky butts. Oooh, and I noticed one of the guys wearing undies with leopard skin design! Oppps, I'm so fag! *LMAO LMAO LMAO*

We headed over to Pavilion as how we planned our outings to be. The plan went haywired of course, for when it comes to shopping, nothing else really matters. I know. I'm one good hell of a shopper. We caught up with the chinese quortet performance. KK and CH totally admired the place. Their first time there. My 4th time inside. Still in love with the place as well. The designs, the air-con, the designer shops, of course, the shoppers. *LMAO* Pavilion is honestly, out of our league. We were there just to see the place. We weren't there to shop. For erm, no matter how hard we told ourselves we DO NOT want to get anything for ourselves, we couldn't resist the temptations. CH had to get his CNY clothes or he'll resort to shirts he got from college or blood donations during the festive season. *LOL* But since Parkson in Sg Wang goes cheap for some nice ones, I itchy-handedly gotten myself a sleeveless from SUB and flowery pants from Forest as well. So yea, we were not going to do anything at Pavilion, except to sit on the stairs and take in the new place. For them I mean. While KW and his team members do shopping at Vincci's, the 3 of us ventured the ground floor to find, to our amazement, a food court, and the pitiful KFC that couldn't come to our service after 20 minutes waiting for our turn. *sheesh* Blame the new workers for being snails I'd say.

We left the white marble-y mall by 7p.m.. Cars weren't moving on the roads. And the lanterns were already up. KW's team left earlier with the excuse of parking fees that would cost one third of a G2000 workshirt on 50% discount. But seeing so many snails on the roads, 3 of us guys just took our time cam-whoring. It's a whole new Orchard Road in front of Pavilion I'd say. Looks pretty similar to me alright. *LOLs*

After confirming we really freaked all the riders inside the snails to think that we're 3 Martians, we finally headed back into Lot 10. Temptations from Isetan sales arises again. They're doing 70% off on Cian work shoes, and Kwan's on sale, as well as Nike! Dr. Cardin's workshoes are affordable at 90 bucks, while Edwin jeans are available at 40 bucks. The deep V from Kwan's a bit expensive considering the amount of cloth used, but it's Kwan for God's sake! Just love their pants! Right, there's also Bonia sandals selling at 80, and Valentino Rudy with 50% off. We did 3 rounds. And all of us succumbed to the power of purchase. I've finally gotten the first pair of jeans in my life, as far as I'm concerned. Thank God we did. We had a huge waiver on our parking fees.

We reached home. And we compared our parking fees. Mine, RM2. KW's, RM24. *laughing my arse off*

Flowery pants: Forest - RM33;
Sleeveless shirt: SUB - RM27;
Jeans: Diesel - RM42;
An afternoon out with close friends - priceless...
