For A Dream I Thought I Never Liked in Real

I had a dream. It wasn't the deep in the night dreams. I never get to remember those dreams. Most of the dream I remembered would be, say, what I had around 5a.m. or 6a.m., just before I woke up. Normally, I'd want to blog about what I dreamt, but eventually, just before I get to it, somehow the memory of the dream just faded away. But not today, na-ah, no-ope, I'm going to blog it down before I forget, just as a record, I dreamt of something I never thought I liked in real, yet I do find it quite enjoying in the dream-world. A-ha.

See, as far as I'm concerned, dreams are like, activities of the brain while you're sleeping. For many reasons, I sort of have the thoughts at the back of my head, that, whatever you saw last before you sleep, or that left the biggest impression on yourself, before you hit the sack, it's more likely you'd dream about that. That's why, I've been attempting to dream of my deceased grandma. If you do get what I mean.

Anyway, what I dreamt about last night, or rather this morning, was something... unexpected, a bit too bizarre considering I honestly swear, that I would not want that in real life. I've had some experience alright, although far from being what we'd call the National Service in Singapore, I'm hearing myself complaining it's too lame to even be called "National Service". But again, that's what we get. Immitations that never live up to their standards. Lame.

No no, I didn't dreamt about my past experience in the training camp, but I dreamt of myself being in an army camp instead. Or perhaps not the real army. Not exactly like those serious training and marching kind of army preparing for war like what we see in serious movies, but rather, it's like a summer camp, but with serious uniform and serious beautiful hats. Okay, maybe not a summer camp, something like a young army training, or erm, perhaps a pre-military training. And by summer training camps, I mean there are 2 groups with the commanders of the 2 groups on loggerheads with each other - competitions and challenge as to who trained the best team. And also, by serious uniform and beautiful hats (really, I have no idea what you call those hats they wear! LOL), I mean it's those with greyish with patchy-like designs and that the hats, my God I still remember how really beautiful it was. I couldn't find any pics of the hat on Google though. But I remembered myself playing with mine before putting it comfortably back onto my head during a debriefing session.

It was triangular... Very fashionable indeed. I'd taken it home for sure. LOL
I've got to say, the dream of the camp was quite pleasurable. A huge big loads of 'brotherhood' and 'living together' with the belong-ed kind off feeling, which really, do give me the comfort. And to be honest, that's the only thing I find comfortable and memorable about living with the other guys in the barracks during the 2 months camp 2 years ago. Yea yea, mine was only for 2 months. I was granted permission to leave early for some interviews and pre-u were starting already then. Anyway, back to the dream. There's lots of shoutings and quarelling and marching in the rain, or avoiding the commander with naughty nasty mischieves. But again, like what I said, the only quality I enjoyed living with a whole big bunch of guys would be the, erm, whole-big-bunch-of-guys feeling. *LMAO*

I woke up to find myself covered under the blanket. For once in so many nights, I actually did have something covering myself despite the fan blowing right onto my face. It was 7.30a.m. Quite a dream. If ever that's what it's like - no medical textbooks, no studying, no intimidating doctors who shouts at you for not knowing, lots of guys who know you, lots of actions and you don't get tired.... Then again, perhaps I might have my internship or houseman or whatever at a camp alright, if only the camp is as beautiful as what I've dreamt.

Perhaps that's why I call it "dream-land".
