Of Shallow and Deep

We gathered outside the lecture hall this morning talking about me. Not exactly me, but I'll just pick out the part where I'm the centre of attention. teehee...

Me: YL, you wanna go home? I so wanna sleep...
YL: Don't temp me!
Me: I was trying so hard to keep my eyes open during Prof Jaya's lecture... But then, during Prof Ali's I was snoring I guess.
YL: Siao kia! Sit in first row also dare to sleep!
Me: I cannot tahan okeh?! KK nudged me twice.
CH: Hahahaha... I heard Ah Bong's snoring dy...
KK: If I didn't nudge you your snoring would shock the entire lecture hall.
CH: No lar... Ah Bong's snoring got category one... He only snores when he's in his shallow sleep. He doesn't snore when it's deep sleep. So just now he's actually half sleeping.
Me: Wahhh...How do you know? Are you watching me sleeping?!

Seriously. Everyone loves sleeping. I've noticed I'm turning into a noctornal animal and could stay awake till 2 but I can't stand sitting in the lecture hall listening to the lecturer at 8am. YL's got the African Sleeping Sickness. CH's been in the library whole day these past few days, so he too hit the sac at midnight. KK takes evening nap, so he doesn't count. Now if you're asking me, I think I've also gotten Trypanosoma brucei inside me.

ps: Trypanosoma brucei = tissue protozoa that causes sleeping sickness. Found in Africa, seriously fatal. :P
