YAY! I shall continue with my food thread.

My housemates and I went out for dinner last night. We decided to do so since KW wanted to be chaffeured around in my car. So we went aimlessly around, and had no particular aim as to which shop we wanted to go. It was around 9pm, and most of the shops are about to close their businesses. Anyway, since everyone asked me to make the decision, I just decided to go to this curry noodle shop in SS2. It took us a while to find the shop as I could barely remember which row it's on. However, by the time we got there, we realized that shop is already closed. *sigh* So we drove down the lane and just simply look for a parking as hungry stomachs would really change the personality of SOME guys in the car. We finally ended up inside this Nam Heong Hainanese Chicken Rice shop.We ordered steam chicken, tofu, asam fish, yam pork plus a bowl of fishball soup. I missed steam chicken rice myself, so that's why I was darn excited when I stepped into this shop. But somehow, this shop didn't really gave me the memories of.... steam chicken. HAHA... Perhaps it's the QUANTITY....

The aunties there were pretty friendly. Although YL claimed she tried to tricked us off when we order our food, I thought they were generally pretty mummy-like. At least they talked a lot, which made the atmosphere in the shop, which was about to close for the day, felt pretty warm and welcoming.

Anyway, the food wasn't that overpriced. Generally I like the fishball and the yam pork... Of course my all time favourite, the steam chicken. :P Oh who am I kidding... LOL
