Normally my parents would bring us dine out on festive seasons or on big occasions. But ever since I came over to KL, and parent's not around, we don't normally have that much of an anticipation anymore. It wasn't until recently when there's all the mooncakes in town and everything. Mum asked sis to bring me dine out in conjunction with the festival. But, with the annoying grumbling regarding my test the other day, mum's days after that were pretty much spoilt as well. So, anyway, this isn't the first time we had all the siblings dining out on big occasions dinner, we went to TGI for my sis's birthday a while ago. Anyway, for the mooncake festival, I had.... The rice was nice, but the chicken are a bit too dry. But overall I'd rate it a 6/10. Sis ordered some mocha, which to me, tasted nothing much different from those of Starbucks. Then finally, what do you know, sis got me something extra for breakfast today. What else could it be if it's not the chocolate indulgence.. say cheese ~cake... LOL Honestly, I'd say the cheese cake from SR are fork-sucking GOOD, but it tasted a bit too much after you had half of the triangular piece of fat. My buddy did told me of another bakery down in Jln Bukit 11 (near my place), which I forgot the name, that produce pretty much to-die-for cheese cakes. It won't be long before I get my hands on those. tee-hee And by the way, it wouldn't be the Mooncake festival if there weren't any mooncakes. Dad was in KL a couple weeks ago. His staff who was transfered to KL got him two boxes of KLT Mooncake. Apparently, I forgot to save some for you fellas. LOL.
I guess, mothers are always mothers, no matter how far their kids are, they still remember the dates.
ps: should you be wondering why my piccies are so not... tummy-growling this time, it's because I had it tapau-ed. I was too kiasu to dine out, yet I have time to blog. Smack me! LOL
