On the Wooden Dolls

I wonder.

How would a wooden doll so innocent-looking as these... could carry a deadly curse?

Oh no no no...
These dolls are fine. Thought I really love this one when I browse through my photo collections. They were taking in a temporary exhibit in the Museum of Ethnography in Budapest (*rolls eyes* Yes yes, still in Budapest. I love Budapest alright?)
