On the 25th Year of My Existence

Celebration of my existence was done over my leave from work. Woohoo! (Thank God it was approved)...

After Malacca, we headed back to KL for a buffet dinner in Shogun. Had like, multiple rounds of sashimis and pastries in the end. But it was a Sunday night then, so the crowd wasn't there. But I suppose it was better that way, in the sense that it wasn't all too crowded. Thanks to the good friends it was all grinning the whole night I think my cheek sore.

Flew back to Kuching the next morning, welcomed by Mum at the airport. Surprisingly, I didn't start complaining about work as how I thought I would be. I mean, I kept a lot of my stories so that I could tell them all when I see them. So I suppose part of me didn't want all those complains to ruin my holiday eh?

Had birthday dinner in a Thai restaurant which survived all these years and still standing! It was in one of those really old buildings in a very old part of the town. Food was nice. But I thought, perhaps the parents couldn't really take Thai food then, they claimed they didn't feel comfortable in their tummies after dinner.

But fret not! We had fresh cream cakes as an antidote to hot and spicy food. LOL.

Blew the candles and had a few slice of cakes at home. Must've been eons since I last celebrated my birthday in Kuching. I swear I saw Mum's eyes sparkling with tears.

The next day, I woke up to this.

Mum's reminiscing the good old times when we were younger that birthdays were celebrated with 2 drumsticks and 2 eggs. I thought it 's cute. :D

And so, that was that... Myself turning a quarter century. Gosh I feel so old now... Like, seriously! 25! LOL.

But then again, there's one thing I would always love to say...

HELLO LIFE!
