On the Hair Cut

Met up with a hairdresser friend whom I haven't been seeing for ages. It was plain out of the blue that he suddenly texted me, and before we know it, we met up for tea and I was led back to his studio across the street.

"Boy, you look horrible. Don't be so down. There's always a solution for everything."

And before I even realized what he was saying, his fingers were dancing around my head with the scissors and combs and whatever those hairstylist uses.

"You know, whenever I'm down, I'll go get a haircut. It feels as though I was given a new lease of life. So now... I'm giving you yours too. Now close your eyes..."

I was too numb to object, so I followed his command. And he started shaving somewhere else other than my head... He was trimming my eyebrow! The middle part where the two brows were joined, well I have that.

"You need to trim this part. It makes you look fearful. When people see you with this, they are sort of dispelled away from you, because you look fierce."

The outcome, I thought I looked weird.

"You'll get used to it. Come back again for hair cut, I'll help you trim your brow as well."
