On the Weird Picture

Was doing my case summary on bronchial asthma and when I was at the physical examination part, I thought I'd just go online to see what else have I missed. Google led me to a site called MedHelp, I suppose it's somewhat like a forum where medical people post questions and get expert helps.

Not trying to be boastful, but I just thought it's kinda odd to put dengue haemorrhagic fever with asthma as these are two different entities together. I mean, well, you might get difficulty in breathing when the dengue got severe, to the extent where platelet is too low you start bleeding all over, even into the lungs, which is why there's a possibility of difficulty in breathing. But that's still far from any association to asthma, where the history would be more of an acute attack. It's after all an inflammation of the lower respiratory tract, not with the lungs expansion.

So I thought. Well... Nevermind. I'm also a "last" year medical student. Better keep my mouth shut. LOL
