Mum's been telling it's pretty clogged up in the bazaar nearby our place. The trend over the past few years pretty much proved that, even with the completion of the flyover that by-pass the bazaar; I suppose it's because of the only wet market in the next 5km or so is here.
Anyways, we headed to the bazaar despite the crowds to have a taste of the long-missed Kolo Mee and Kuching Siu Mai. Well, there are other shops around selling these stuff, but just, well, we were lazy to drive too far away from home. LOL.
Traffic was insane. Parking was chaotic. Maybe because it was the eve of CNY...
Booths were set up in the middle of the road, selling tonnes of mandarin oranges. People are walking as though the road's a pedestrian walkway. And well, not to forget the CNY decorations and what nots. But really, it was chaotic and crowded and... plain crazy...
We circled around hunting for carparks which was pretty much... zilch. Cars were already double parking. And a 2 lane road was turned into a single lane road.
In the end, Dad squeezed our little car just right in between two cars, where a lamp post was. @.@ It's amazing though, because when we came out, it seemed that the road was still pretty much patent. LMAO! Small car has its perks!
And we finally had our taste of the long-missed local delicacies... Yummmm...
Kolo Mee!
And Siu Mai!
Yummmyyyy....
