On the Owl City's To the Sky

Was in the cinema watching the Legend of the Guardians when this song came to the ears, one of the songs in the soundtracks. Upon the 5th second, I turned to look at my friend, and unanimously we uttered the same word. "Owl City!"

See, Adam Young, the one who founded the sythpop music in Owl City, never ceased to amaze me. "To The Sky" preserved the innocence and contain the encouragement for the ambitious, yet sounded all so cheerful and care-free. Something I haven't seen in other singers thus far. Better still, I heard he wrote all the songs himself. Genius? I wouldn't doubt.

Therefore, to hear the song in the movie of the owl, I suppose I was having a feeling of joy and pride. Not sure why I would be feeling such, but the 2 times it was played in the movie, I'd involuntarily smile. LOL.

Anyways, if you haven't already watched the movie, I'd say it's a 8/10. Minor twist was present. But otherwise pretty much expectable ending, although it was still something that you'll be looking forward to. Animation was great, though I think the 3D version would be greater. Otherwise, I could only say there's just some illogical aspect along the storyline, but which movie didn't have right?

With that, enjoy your weekend folks!
