I didn't miss a single morning to the morning round for the past 4 weeks. Waking up at 630 to be in the ward before 7, in time for the review of the first bed. I was the first in the ward in my group, and sometimes even earlier than the housemen. Not that I learnt a lot, but at least I got to open the wound bandages and see them, as compared to those who only read about them in the text books. Somehow, despite the tiredness from waking up too early, I was persistent, don't know why...
So one day, an ex-housemate of mine, who was from another team, had to attend his teaching round at 7 in the morning as well. So there they were, waiting for their lecturer while I started walking with the MO...
Later on that day, I heard from another friend, that ex-housemate grumbled about the early waking.
"Gosh... One day already so tired. Finally I understood the tiredness the red team had to go through, everyday also need to be in the ward so early. No wonder Medie looked super tired by 4pm."
LOL. Then again, now that I've gotten used to it, I guess there's nothing much to grumble about. We are, after all, gonna be tortured like this for the next 2 years...

I think a lot of parents in KL wake up at that time or even earlier to prepare their kids for school and send them out.
urgh, waking up so early is just so torturing.. i always sleep till the very last minute
as long as u know that u will gain something by doing it... then keep on doing it lo
add oil..:)
true what William had said. And parents dont get any rest till midnight and sometimes later
this is a noble job..think of it that way.. taking care and having passion for the sick.. admire u!
i'm lucky no need to wake up so early for work :p I only wake up @ 8pm.
well the early bird get the wombs :p im sure ur effort wont b wasted :)
people wake up I slep, I wake up ppl sleep... Biological clock..
I mean, if I need to wake up that early everyday, I'm gonna have a very hard time...
You'll juz have to learn to live with it. Waking up at 6am is already late for many, esp those with schooling kids. ;)
