On the Ferry before the Storm

"It's going to rain!"

"Well, your prediction that we can see sunset on the ferry didn't come true wor."

I pouted my lips.

"Does the ferry operate during rainy days?"

"Don't see why not right?"

"Will the ferry sway excessively?"

"Shouldn't be. The ferry is so quite stable. Why? Scared of sea-sickness?"

"No, no, just asking."

"Well, if you're not comfortable with crossing over using ferry, we can go for the bridge."

In the end, it was the ferry. Shorter route, and faster too.


"Watch out for the sea water. It might splash up and wet the floor."

Before I know it, my sandals were all wet. And the 2nd wave came in before I could escape further in.

I finally walked further in after the 2nd wave of sea water flow out, and noticed that the soulmate too, had his sandals all wet, failing to escape the splashed-in waves.

"It's coming down..."
