Hi Mr Bong
Thanks for your email. Sorry but we not able to repair your notebook without charge. Your duration for your notebook Limited Warranty is 1 year. Once the warranty period has expired, any repair is chargeable. The best we can do is offer our best discount for you which is our cost price for the systemboard already. Kindly approve the quote and we will expediate the repair for you.
Alternatively, if you pay a little more, maybe you can explore purchasing a brand new notebook with latest specs/ technology and with 1 year parts and labour warranty. Should you decide not to proceed with repair, as one time goodwill gesture, we will waive the min charges of RM95 and you can take back you unit.
thanks
JS

lappy is expensive!!
Continue the fight ... just don't give up even you lost RM95... you didn't fight you don't know what is the outcome... :p
If you can afford a new one, then I think follow the 2nd advice. Baby is baby but gives too much headache :P
Stop the emails. Go directly to their office or headquarters or wherever you sent your laptop to. Demand to speak to a supervisor, or if you're already speaking to one and he/she isn't helping, demand to speak to who he/she answers to (ie the big heads). Tell them that you will bring this to the next level unless you're satisfied with the service they promised to provide.
Listen to Evann and bring Anton along to their office. Before that feed Anton with curry rice and tom yam soup so that he will spit flames at them. LOL
Good luck!
If Anton is so good, I will employ him. He has a full time job? ;)
