On the Spoiler Re-scheduled

Someone marah apparently... That's why what supposed to be a twist on the movie was taken back 2 hours later and scheduled for post the day after the premier screening. But if you've read this spoiler and also watched the movie, you'd have known that Terminator Salvation didn't end this way. BUT, if you've yet to watch it, it's going to be a huge spoiler lor.

The latest terminator, T800, was indestructable. Not by hot melted metal nor liquid chilling gas, whatever it was. Connor was able to momentarily halt its movement by freezing him. The half-man-half machine Marcus Wright was lying unconciously not far away, his human heart stop pumping after T800 punch him in his heart. John Connor crawled over to Marcus and was punching him to get his heart beating, but it was a futile effort. T800's punch was too strong that even Marcus could not able to stand it.

Connor reached for high voltage wire and tried to resuscitate Marcus. First attempt was in vain. T800 slowly breaking free from being frozen. Its fingers flexing and the head started to turn, hunting for the primary target, John Connor. Connor went for a second attempt. And a third. And Marcus woke up gasping for air. Before suddenly...

AAaargghhhhh!

T800 pierced Connor's body with a steel rod from the back.

Marcus woke up, broke the steel rod and jumped to T800's back, twisting and breaking T800's neck, pulled off its head and finally killed the deadless machine.

As Connor lied gasping for breath on the ground, the movie finally comes to an end... The prophet to save all human kind is finally killed, after so many attempts of eliminating him, the machines finally did it.

What makes us human? What differentiates us from the machine?

Skynet was able to create the half-human Marcus Wright to search for Kyle Reese, which is Connor's dad. While Marcus was half machine, he was actually someone with emotions and was able to think and feel. The machines was able to think radically, and was able to create another machine with emotions. Yet at the brink of extinction, the human beings were still fighting amongst themselves for survival, for food and for oil.

Sometimes it doesn't take much to see. Even a plain storyline-less action-packed movie was able to point out that we, the human beings, are damn stupidly selfish...
